Investigations.  A reintroduction to the basic processes involved in fact-finding, reporting, and ensuring compliance with district policies and state requirements. The presentation emphasizes practical understanding, highlighting how thorough and fair investigations help support a safe and effective learning environment. Presenters: Gary Marsh, Chief Investigator, Escambia County School District and Caroline Gray, Chief Negotiator / Employee Services Coordinator, Escambia County Public Schools.

Florida Local Education Health Trust (FLEHT) – a statewide health trust for Florida School Districts. The Florida Association of District School Superintendents (FADSS), in collaboration with industry experts, has established FLEHT — a comprehensive statewide health trust for self‑insured Florida public school districts. This presentation will introduce you to the organization and facilitate discussion on the unique complexities of district health plans, as well as the ways the trust intends to offer cost savings, financial stability, and access to expertly managed programs. Presenter: Ted Roush, Executive Director, FLEHT.

The Schools of Hope Program – a brief presentation offering an overview of Florida’s Schools of Hope initiative, including its legislative background. The presentation highlights key policy considerations, district responsibilities, and potential impacts on school planning and budgeting, and is intended to encourage informed discussion. Facilitator: Dr. Danielle Thomas, Sunrise Consulting.

Negotiation Insights Exchange. An open forum for participants to share updates on negotiations – what’s working, what’s difficult, and success stories. Facilitated by FEN Officers
