The presentation emphasizes practical understanding, highlighting how thorough and fair investigations help support a safe and effective learning environment. Florida Local Education Health Trust (FLEHT) – a statewide health trust for Florida School Districts. The Florida Association of District School Superintendents (FADSS), in collaboration with industry experts, has established FLEHT — a comprehensive statewide health trust for self‑insured Florida public school districts. This presentation will introduce you to the organization and facilitate discussion on the unique complexities of district health plans, as well as the ways the trust intends to offer cost savings, financial stability, and access to expertly managed programs.
