Subject: A Message From Your FEN President
Dear FEN Members:
It is with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to postpone our May FEN Conference to a later date to be determined for the Fall. It is our hope that by then the state of emergency will be in the past and we will once again be able to meet together live and in person. Your FEN board has worked hard to create a terrific and valuable agenda which now will most likely be adjusted to include all of the new topics that come along with negotiating in the times of a pandemic. We still promise that the conference in the Fall will be a celebration of 40 years as an association.
In the meantime, please do not hesitate to turn to each other by way of email to discuss issues you may be having or topics that come up for negotiation. We have been thrown into a new environment and the term “working conditions” has taken on new meaning. All email addresses are located under the Membership tab on the FEN website for your convenience.
I look forward to seeing each of you for our conference in the fall and we will certainly send out the new dates once we have them confirmed.
Until then, please stay safe, wash your hands frequently and negotiate wisely.
Your FEN President,
Cathy Weber
St. Johns County School District
Director for Budget
Chief Negotiator
